Youth NewsNew York Trip Participants try to Make it Youth Group this Wednesday (the 28th) will be from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Bauer's House (8194 Outer Drive, on the Long Lake Peninsula) Call 231-392-4259 if you need directions. We will be going over some things and answering any questions you have for the New York Trip. Please turn in your completed paperwork to Jason by this Wednesday! Summer 2010 Senior High Mission TripGet your state Id's or passports ASAP! On our way out to
New York we will be traveling through Canada. We will stay
the night of July 30th at St. John's Lutheran just outside of
Buffalo. On the night of the 31st we will be staying at
the Hilton In in Parsippany New Jersey. On Sunday we plan
on visiting the Statue of Liberty. August 1st will start
our week of work and fun at Youth Works. During the evenings we will be going to Rockaway Beach,. Flushing Meadows
Park and a community dinner and a cookout. We will work at
a Kid's Club, assisted Living homes and other community work
projects. On our way back on the 6th we will be staying at
a camp outside of Buffalo. We will return to Redeemer late
on August 7th. This is going to be an AWESOME trip!
Final payment is due on June 20th if you need more time please
talk to Jason.
Camping Trip August 20 and 21 Starting at Green Lake we will canoe down the Betsie River to Grass Lake Camp Ground, (this is a approx. 2 hour paddle trip.) If you have a canoe or kayak that you would like to use, please bring it as that would be great! Please sign up on the Youth board. This event is for both Jr. and Sr. High and any adult who would like to come, Cost is $5.00.
