What's NewAnnual Lenten Fish FryJoin us every Friday February 19th through March 26th, 5:30 P.M. for our wonderful fish fry in the Redeemer Fellowship Center. Fish will be served with choice of baked potato or french fries, cole slaw, rolls and dessert.

If you participated in last Summers video series "Answers in Genesis" you may have the desire to dig deeper into the evidence for special creation and develop a better defense of the Christian faith. If that is the case, then you better come to Pastor Brand's class. With the help of three gifted Christian scientists (Dr. Jason Lisle, Dr. Andre Snelling and Dr. Georgia Purdom, (via video) we will discuss these topics- Evolution and Logical Fallacies, The Ultimate Proof of Creation, Nuclear Strength Apologetics, The Code of Life (DNA) and the Grand Canyon. Participants will receive a copy of the book "The Ultimate Poof of Creation" for their use and a copy to pass on to a friend.
Women of Faith Bible Study - Laura Bauer
For Women of all ages to study what God's word has to say about our emotions. Sometimes, our moods can get the best of us. They can even stand in the way of healthy communication with others. This is a heart to heart Bible study about our moods and emotions. In this study we'll tackle the garden variety moods and emotions we deal with everyday with down to earth illustrations to give you a chance to laugh and think and dozens of thoughtful insights from Marilyn Meberg, Luci Swindoll, Barbara Johnson, Sheila Walsh, Thelma Wells, Patsy Clairmont and Nicole Johnson- the "Women of Faith". We will search the Scriptures for God's answers to controlling our emotions. Each participant will be given their own Managing Your Moods book to work through as a group and on their own at home.

This will be an ongoing course offered throughout 2010 Fun sessions come for part or all! It's easy to think all Christians believe the same doctrine, but the differences are astounding, Baptism, Communion and free will are all examples of some of the major differences among Christian denominations. In One Christ, Many Creeds, the teachings of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and fifteen other Christian denominations are examined and compared. Students develop a deeper understanding of the similarities as well as the differences that exist between Christian denominations. This essential study prepares students of all ages to represent their Lutheran faith in light of other Christian denominations. Denominations examined: Lutherans, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Presbyterians, Christian Reformed, Anglicans/Episcopalians, Methodists, Salvation Army, Church of the Nazarene, Baptists, Mennonites, Seventh-day Adventists, United Church of Christ, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Pentecostalism/Assemblies of God, Emerging Churches (the "Christian" cults of Jehovah Witness and Mormonism will also be covered) There will be informational material given out in classes and there will be no cost to the student. It is always a good idea to bring your Bible to class.
